The platform will mainly do forward-looking research on LED lighting technology, focus on a number of key common technologies, and set the process, method and testing standards to be first tested in the alliance, thus driving the rapid development of the province's LED lighting industry.
Experts pointed out that the establishment of the Guangdong LED lighting industry standardization public platform and the establishment of the Guangdong LED lighting industry standard technology alliance mark the key stage of the Guangdong LED lighting industry standardization system construction from the comprehensive speed-up stage into the centralized development and introduction. It is an important measure for standardization strategy to promote the development of strategic emerging industries.
According to reports, the LED lighting industry is a strategic emerging industry that accelerates the cultivation and development of the province. In order to accelerate the core competitiveness of LED standardization research, this year, the Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau and the Provincial Science and Technology Department have compiled the entire industry to publish the "Guangdong Province." LED lighting industry standard system planning and roadmap", at present, more than 600 enterprises in the province have taken the initiative to declare the development of 130 standards that are most urgently needed by the industry. The first batch of 87 local standards of Guangdong Province have officially approved the overall project, 93 Leading enterprises and institutions took the lead, and 486 units participated in the drafting of local standards.
