Agent access of ADSL router [Practical training purpose]
(1) Master the connection method of ADSL router.
(2) Master the configuration process of GNET1500 routing function MODEM.
(3) Learn to refer to the configuration of GRT 1500 to access other models of ADSL routers.
【Preliminary knowledge】
ADSL MODEM mainly has three types: built-in PCI, external Ethernet interface and external USB interface. Among them, the ADSL MODEM with external Ethernet interface generally has the functions of bridging, routing and firewall (also known as ADSL Router), which can easily build a local area network.
【Practical training requirements】
Can use Greennet GRT1500 routing function MODEM for one-line multi-machine Internet access, and can master the configuration process and setting method of ADSL router.
1. Preparation before configuration Hardware connection (1) Hardware required for networking. Using telephone line connection, PPPoE protocol virtual dial-up Internet access, dynamic allocation of IP addresses. In this example, ADSL MODEM uses Grinnett GRT1500 with routing function, and also requires a hub HUB or a small switch (the number of ports depends on the computer that needs to be connected), a crossover network cable, a number of parallel network cables (and a computer network card. The connection is as follows As shown in Figure 6-1.
(2) Connection method. Connect the LAN port of the ADSL MODEM and the UpLink port of the HUB with a crossover network cable; connect the telephone line to the Line port of the MODEM; connect the other ports of the HUB to the network card of each computer through a parallel network cable.

Second, the configuration process Set the computer's network card. Because the default IP address of GRT1500 is 192.168.1.1, you must first set the computer and ADSL MODOM to the same network segment, otherwise it will not be able to communicate. The specific steps are as follows (take Windows 98 as an example, the settings of other systems are similar):
(1) Turn on the computer connected to the HUB, right-click the "My Network Places" icon on the desktop, select the "Properties" command, and double-click the TCP / IP protocol corresponding to the network card in the dialog box that pops up, as shown in Figure 6-2 The dialog shown.
(2) Enter the value of DNS as shown in Figure 6-2.
(3) Enter the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway value. Set the IP address to 192.168.1.2. As shown in Figure E15-3, the subnet mask is: 255.255.255.0; the gateway is: 192.168.1.1.

2. Modify GRT1500
The next operation is to modify the GRT1500, which has a certain degree of danger (similar to changing the motherboard BIOS), so it is recommended to find a machine with higher stability. As ADSL routing supports to modify its configuration through the Web, as long as you open the IE browser on your computer and enter 192.168.1.1 in the address bar, a login dialog box will pop up immediately, and after you press Enter, the screen shown in Figure 6-4 will appear. Dialog box.
Enter root and 12345 in the "User name" and "Password" fields respectively (if there is any error, please consult the manual or contact the supplier), click the "OK" button to log in to the management interface, as shown in Figure 6-5 .

3. Enabling the DHCP function of GRT1500 Click DHCP in Figure 6-5. If you want to enable the DHCP function of GRT1500, you need to select the "Activate" option, fill in the relevant parameters, and then click the Apply button to enable the DHCP service function.

44. Configure PPPoE and PPPoA
The specific steps are as follows:
(1) Click "WAN Settings" in Figure 6-5, and the interface shown in Figure 6-6 will appear.
(2) Click the "PPPoE (Activate NAT)" option and fill in the account and password given to you by the broadband provider in the text box after the user name and password.
(3) Select the online mode as direct according to the actual situation. Specify "idle time (min)" Select the verification protocol CHAP, PAP, MSCHAPV1 and MSCHAPV2, generally provided by ISP. Click the Modify button to complete the modification. If it is a telecommunications user, it is usually the default.
(4) This step will save the modifications to GRT15000. Click "Save && Start" in Figure 6-5, and click the "Save" button in the page that appears (as shown in Figure 6-7).
Then restart the computer, turn off the ADSL MODEM and then turn it on. This completes the modification of GRT15000. Open Internet Explorer and try to get online without dialing or installing PPPoE protocol.

5. Configuration IP of other clients: 192.168.1.x (x is 3-255, because 1 and 2 are occupied);
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0;
Gateway: 192.168.1.1.

3. Notes on using ADSL MODEM (1) ADSL line cannot be connected with extensions, the phone can only be led out from the phone port of the splitter, otherwise it will cause ADSL failure.
(2) The connectors on the line must be well connected, especially the connectors inside the user's house, if they are oxidized, they should be replaced in time.

(3) If the telephone line coming out of the branch box of the telecommunications bureau is too long, the parallel line should be replaced with a cross line to improve the anti-interference ability of the line.
(4) The power adapter of ADSL MODEM can generally adapt to a limited range of voltage changes. If the power supply fluctuates sharply, it will cause a disconnection.
(5) ADSL is sometimes subject to interference from weather and other factors, such as heavy rain, etc., users need to avoid this situation when surfing the Internet.
(6) The MODEM should be kept dry and ventilated to avoid water spray and keep clean. Be sure to unplug the MODEM power supply and all connections during thunderstorms to avoid damage from lightning strikes.
(7) The MODEM cannot be overheated. Do not place it on the PC case. If the temperature of the MODEM is always too high for a long time online, you can consider placing the MODEM vertically to facilitate heat dissipation.

HVAC Air Cleaner Purifier, technology with UV Germicidal, Electronic, electrostatic, photocatalyst and photo electronic.

Electronic air cleaners, sometimes referred to as ionizers or electronic air purifiers, use electrically charged filters to reduce the number of airborne contaminants in your home. As air passes through your heating and cooling system, the Electronic Air Cleaner traps large particles (such as dust and dander) in a prefilter. Then, electrically charged filters attract and trap smaller particles (such as bacteria and mold) to prevent them from recirculating through your home.

Function: Traps the larger dust particles and contaminants. And Eleminate fine dust, PM2.5, smoke particles,  pollens, mould spores and bacteria, some as small as 0.01 micron.
Control: connected with HVAC system.
Install: Return air, Air Duct, Air Handling Unit, Fan Coil.
