[High-tech LED] US equipment factory Veeco has announced that Tsinghua Tongfang Beijing Branch has ordered a multi-chamber MOCVD equipment for the production of HB LEDs. Veeco pointed out that the company purchased K465i MOCVD equipment for its Nantong industrial base in 2010.
Tsinghua Tongfang is one of the few companies in China that adopts the LED industry chain development model. At present, Tsinghua Tongfang has formed LED epitaxial wafer, chip manufacturing and packaging, production and application of terminal products, complete industrial chain and large-scale production of commercial and urban landscape lighting, and has nearly 100 patents for LED epitaxy and chip manufacturing.
