In order to meet the application requirements of low wattage LED lighting / decorative light source, Ming Wei newly introduced the PLN-20 and PLP-20 two series of 20W LED power supply with power factor correction function. The PLN-20 is a plastic insulated housing switching power supply with dust and water resistance, while the other PLP-20 is an inorganic frame open frame type. The PLN-20 achieves the IP64 requirement through structural design, which saves the cost of filling the glue. The PLP-20 saves the outer casing components under the removal of the casing and the miniaturized PCB design. Therefore, the two series of products can be maintained. The lower cost is Mingwei's current LED power supply series with the lowest wattage of PFC function, which can fully meet the various low wattage and low price luminaire system applications.
In order to achieve the power factor requirements of the lighting specification and the competitiveness of the low wattage LED lighting/decorative lamp market, the PLN-20 and PLP-20 use a single-stage PFC architecture in the line design, in the most economical way. Achieving the high PF value (PF ≧ 0.9) and meeting the Class C rating of the EU EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current requirements (in the case of output load ≧ 75%), in line with the needs of general lighting-related applications. In addition, the highest working efficiency of the two series can reach 83.5%, so they can only work with natural air-cooling and heat-dissipation at -30~+60oC, which is combined with the high temperature-temperature characteristics of the closed operating environment of the lamp system. The output current can be adjusted by the built-in variable resistor in the range of 75~100% of the rated current, which greatly increases the flexibility of the design of the luminaire system. Other standard functions include short circuit protection, overload protection, over voltage protection and over temperature protection. The input and output modes are equipped with 18AWG/30cm power cords, which are convenient for users to assemble in various systems or work places. The second series also passed the international certifications such as TUV / UL / CUL / CE, including UL8750, EN61347-1, EN61347-2-13 and other lighting regulations, so that you can use it safely.
