Terra Virtua is often referred to as "Netflix for VR," offering users access to a wide range of virtual and augmented reality content through a monthly subscription model. This new VR marketplace, set to launch later this year, will allow users to enjoy fresh and exclusive content in a convenient, recurring format.

As the name suggests, Terra Virtua aims to revolutionize how people experience VR by providing an ever-growing library of immersive games, experiences, and AR content. Currently, it supports Oculus Rift users, but the company has plans to expand to mobile devices and even PlayStation VR in the future. The platform will not only require a monthly subscription but also offer a pay-per-view option for special events, giving users more flexibility. Terra Virtua will also integrate its own cryptocurrency, the Terra Virtua Token (TVT), which will allow users to purchase in-platform items such as skins, virtual goods, and more. Before the official launch, early adopters will have the opportunity to buy TVT tokens to prepare for the platform's release.

Developers will also benefit from Terra Virtua, as the platform will provide them with a dedicated space to sell their games, events, and services. A pre-sale for the initial coin offering will take place on March 26th next month, marking a key milestone in the project’s development. Gary Bracey, CEO of Terra Virtua, shared his vision: “I’ve been involved in video game production and development for over 35 years, and for the past 25 years, the industry has talked about VR. But no one has yet delivered a mainstream product that truly broke through.” He added, “Part of the issue was the difficulty in building VR hardware, but more importantly, the experience hasn’t matched what players are used to in 2D games. It’s not easy to play with friends, and the returns haven’t been there. Terra Virtua is here to change that.”

Terra Virtua started in 2016, and since then, the team has been working on its prototype. The platform is set to officially launch in September this year, with a beta version for developers coming soon. Additionally, a Mixed Reality (MR) companion app is scheduled to be released a month after the main launch, offering users a virtual assistant to help them navigate the platform and discover new content.
