Although LG's latest flagship smartphone, the V30, was officially launched last week, the company has yet to confirm its release date in the United States. So far, there has been no official announcement regarding when it will be available on American soil.

However, recently, well-known tech leaker Evan Blass, also known as "Uncle" in some circles, shared a promotional poster that appears to hint at the U.S. launch of the V30. According to the image, customers who purchase the V30 in the U.S. may receive a free Google Daydream View VR headset. What makes this interesting is that the headset mentioned isn't the older 2016 version but rather a new one that hasn't been officially released yet in 2017.

Still, there's some confusion because the image shows the 2016 model of the Daydream View. However, Evan Blass has confirmed to media outlets that the promotional item is indeed the new version. In addition to the headset, buyers are also expected to receive a "Google VR content package" valued at around $45. Some reports suggest that the new Daydream View might cost about $99.

LG seems to be embracing Google's VR ecosystem more than ever. The V30 is not only a high-end smartphone but also one that supports Google's Daydream platform, signaling LG's commitment to immersive technology.

The LG V30 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The standard edition comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, with an option for 128GB. It also features a 3300mAh battery. The phone sports a 6-inch QHD display with a 18:9 aspect ratio, offering a more immersive viewing experience. On the back, it has a dual camera setup: a 16MP main lens and a 13MP wide-angle lens. The V30 also includes a Hi-Fi Quad DAC, developed in collaboration with B&O PLAY, for superior audio quality.

Currently, the LG V30 has already been launched in South Korea, priced at 9,493 won (approximately RMB 5,500). Reports suggest that the U.S. price will be lower than that. LG has also announced plans to roll out the V30 in Europe and North America in the coming months, indicating a broader global strategy.
