Although LG's latest flagship smartphone, the V30, was officially launched last week, the company has yet to announce its release date in the United States. So far, there has been no clear timeline or official statement regarding when the V30 will be available on American soil.

However, recently, well-known tech leaker Evan Blass, known online as "Uncle" or "舅舅," shared a promotional poster that appears to hint at an upcoming U.S. launch. The image suggests that customers who purchase the V30 in the U.S. will receive a free Google Daydream View VR headset. What makes this particularly interesting is that the headset mentioned is not the 2016 model but a new version expected to be released in 2017, according to the post.

Still, there’s some confusion because the image shows what looks like the older 2016 version of the Daydream View. However, Evan Blass clarified to media outlets that the promotional gift is indeed the new model, not the outdated one. In addition to the headset, buyers may also receive a “Google VR content package” valued at around $45. Some rumors suggest that the new Daydream View could be priced at $99, making the bundle even more appealing.

It seems LG is making a strong push to support Google’s VR ecosystem with the V30. This new flagship is fully compatible with Google Daydream, signaling a deeper integration between the two companies.

The LG V30 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, with standard configuration options of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and a 128GB variant available. It also comes with a 3300mAh battery. The display is a 6-inch QHD+ screen with a 18:9 aspect ratio, offering a resolution of 2880x1440 pixels. On the back, it houses a dual rear camera system: a 16MP main lens and a 13MP wide-angle lens. Additionally, the phone includes Hi-Fi Quad DACs and is tuned by B&O Play sound engineers for enhanced audio quality.

As of now, the V30 has already been released in South Korea, where it is priced at 9,493 won (approximately RMB 5,500). Reports indicate that the U.S. pricing will likely be lower than the Korean version. LG has also confirmed that the V30 will be rolled out in Europe and North America in the coming months, marking a significant step in its global expansion strategy.
