Choose a power brand based on management goals

The current power equipment brands are complex. According to the performance indicators stipulated in the network inspection standards, each equipment is similar, but the structure, user-friendly design, intelligent monitoring, regional / specific environmental solutions, and after-sales service guarantees vary widely. Improper selection of these branded equipment will disperse the maintenance resources and weaken the strength. It is difficult to deepen the maintenance work and it is difficult for the after-sales service to obtain manufacturer protection.

According to the management objectives, follow the principles and priorities of "guaranteed reliable operation, controlled condition monitoring, shortened maintenance time, and reduced costs" to conduct inspection and screening of brands and equipment. The number of preferred brands is preferably not more than 3, in order to benefit technical personnel To improve the technical level, the equipment has a certain scale, and it is easy to obtain better after-sales service conditions; at the same time, the equipment of the same brand is arranged to be used in the same area as much as possible, so that the maintenance personnel can perform maintenance in a single and in-depth manner.

Investigation and execution of preventive work

Preventive work runs through the entire process of equipment selection, installation and maintenance.

Before selecting equipment, the working environment of the equipment (including geographical conditions, climatic conditions, mains environment, duty conditions, supporting systems, etc.) and the adaptability of the selected equipment to the working environment should be investigated in advance. Practice has proved that the function and performance of some equipment may not be suitable for all conditions. The failure rate of the same equipment in different working environments will be very different. Therefore, before selecting equipment, be sure to conduct an investigation of your own environment, analysis of the selected equipment, and extensively listen to the investigation opinions of the specific use of other local telecommunications departments. Installation and acceptance work is also a key point of preventive work. Building a graded support system

At present, the maintenance resources of telecommunication systems are slightly weaker than the total equipment operation. Some equipment maintenance contractors have not been able to solve and eliminate various faults in a timely manner. In this case, within the prefecture-level city or the province-wide scope, establish a hierarchical technical support system that includes technical expert groups, technical backbone teams, and daily maintenance personnel, and include manufacturer technical personnel into it. The implementation of hierarchical technical support for the step-by-step and real-time reporting process will be of great significance to the maintenance and guarantee of the power supply.

Within the scope of the support system, the investigation of typical faults, the classification and statistics of various faults (such as quality, external causes, negligence, etc.), and archiving of data archives, information resource sharing and other measures will help maintain the team ’s technology. Rational configuration of power supply system

The rational configuration of the power supply system must pay attention to the following points:

(1) In the AC power supply system, the automatic switching device is gradually promoted, and it has a mechanical manual switching function for emergency use. In the large-capacity (over 2000kVA) AC power supply system, it is recommended to use two sub-power supply systems (transformer and oil machine) to supply power separately. The sub-power supply system uses a liaison cabinet as a backup for each other. Important sites (such as hub offices, data centers, IDC centers, etc.) should strive to introduce two high-voltage lines of different substations to improve the reliability of power supply. Since large-capacity low-voltage circuit breakers generally do not leave spare parts, once damaged, the cause of the fault and the maintenance time are longer, the emergency plan should be started in time to use temporary cables to connect the temporary power supply (to eliminate short-circuit factors), to avoid the lack of time, resulting in The event of the battery shining occurs.

(2) The capacity of a single set of high-frequency switching power supply should not be too large. The number of power module start-ups should be determined according to the environment and fault conditions. For stations with overall destructive factors (such as mains overvoltage), the number of start-ups should not be large. The battery charging current is limited to 0.1C10. The rated current of the DC fuse should be no more than twice the maximum load current to ensure that the fuse blows in time when the load is short-circuited, so as not to affect the output voltage of the entire DC power supply system.

(3) Large-capacity UPS is the difficulty of power supply maintenance management. The network should prefer the "N + 1" parallel mode. The maintenance department must be involved throughout the design, review and installation, and pay attention to the following issues: UPS main road and side Road power supply is best powered by two air switches separately; too high zero-ground voltage of the UPS will cause an increase in the packet loss rate of the network data, so measures should be taken to reduce the zero-ground voltage of the UPS output to less than 1V; 2V valve-regulated sealed battery; for UPS equipment, focus on important indicators such as input power factor and harmonic content, especially coordination with the oil machine, the ratio of oil machine capacity to UPS capacity should be more than 2 times to ensure oil The machine and UPS can work normally.

(5) The storage battery is the core of the backup power supply on the telecommunications network.
