In order to ensure the stable quality of the capacitor and give full play to its performance, please be sure to read the following guidelines before use:

1. Polarity

PA-Cap polymer solid chip aluminum electrolytic capacitors are polar. So please confirm the polarity before using, and don't set the polarity wrong. If the polarity is reversed, not only will the leakage current increase, or even a short circuit.

2. Voltage

The operating voltage should not exceed the rated voltage, otherwise the leakage current will increase and the capacitor may be damaged due to internal temperature rise. The sum of the peak value of DC voltage and ripple voltage shall not exceed the rated voltage.

3. Temperature

To be used within the rated temperature range, if the temperature range is exceeded, the electrical characteristics will be deteriorated, and this potential damage may cause the capacitor to fail.

When using it, you should not only pay attention to the external ambient temperature, but also consider the temperature rise that may be caused by the components themselves.

4. Ripple current

Use within the allowable ripple current range. Ripple current exceeding the rated value will cause the capacitor to heat up, increase the leakage current, and reduce the service life.

5. Storage of capacitors

The capacitor is stored in an environment protected from moisture and direct sunlight. The storage environment temperature is preferably 5 ℃ ~ 30 ℃ and the relative humidity is lower than 60% RH.

Moisture Sensitivity Level: Level 3.

In order to maintain good welding performance, please store the capacitor in the factory state of the company, and try to use it up once after opening. If there is any remaining, please put it back in the packaging bag and seal the opening with tape.

Capacitors stored for more than 2 years should be dried before use, and a 1KΩ / V series resistance should be applied to gradually apply a DC voltage to the rated working voltage and maintain the rated voltage for 1 hour before use.

6. Measurement of capacitors

The surge current caused by rapid charge and discharge will cause leakage current increase or even short circuit. For this purpose, please connect a 1KΩ protection resistor in series with the capacitor leakage current measurement and gradually apply it to the rated voltage. Before testing other parameters, you should connect a 1KΩ resistor in series to fully discharge the capacitor Then measure again.

7. Installation of capacitors

Recommended pad size:

PA-Cap polymer solid chip aluminum electrolytic capacitors are suitable for reflow soldering. The recommended welding curve is shown in the figure:

When soldering with an electric soldering iron, do not touch the capacitor shell with the soldering tip. Make sure that the soldering tip temperature is below 350 ° C and the time does not exceed 3 seconds.

Before installation, confirm that the capacitor pin size matches the circuit board design size. Do not deform the capacitor pins during installation, and do not apply excessive external force, otherwise it will seriously affect the performance of the capacitor and even damage the capacitor. When the capacitor has been soldered on the PCB board, it cannot be moved with strong external force.

In addition, do not repeat reflow soldering more than twice.

8. The capacitor should be avoided in the following environment as much as possible

(1) Direct contact with water, brine or oil;

(2) Exposure to direct sunlight;

(3) High temperature or humid environment;

(4) An environment full of harmful chemical gases;

(5) Acid and alkali environment;

(6) Excessive vibration or shock environment
