A: Last year, a lot of television sales were negative growth. Then where are the growth points of TV games software?

Zhang Zong: I think that the growth rate of traditional TV is slowing down in the entire TV industry, but the growth rate of smart TV is increasing. For the video game, it is at an early stage. As a video game distribution platform under China Mobile Games, we hope to represent the middle game in the video game field to provide players with better content, better operation, and better service. So, I think the current video game will bring more user experience to the industry and there will be more traffic accumulation. When traffic accumulates to a certain extent and the user experience is good enough for a certain period of time, it is entirely possible for traffic to be realized.

A: The recent PS4 National Bank debut, Xbox one is also on sale at the same time, then these two hosts will affect the domestic video game market what kind of impact?

Zhang Zong: I think they are high-end video game carriers. If the entire video game industry is viewed as a pyramid, the three major game consoles may occupy users within 5% of the entire video game industry. The rest of the pyramid's mid-range to the end 90% or even 95% of the huge user base must rely on Android smart terminals such as smart TVs, smart set-top boxes, and even smart projectors. By comparison, this market will be larger. So for the current domestic users, the three major game console user groups and our Android TV game terminal user groups are not the same level, there is no conflict between them. I also hope that the three mainframes can do a good job because the three mainframes can drive the whole family entertainment and improve the overall atmosphere. Once the entire industry has improved, there will be direct or indirect benefits to the entire home entertainment industry.

A: As a leading video game platform, do you think the development environment for China's video games is suitable?

Zhang Zong: I think that the development environment of China’s television this year has been a marked change from last year. When I did this last year, the environment was very poor. In the third quarter of last year, when I was attending high-end gatherings in the industry, my friends in the industry had done statistics. At that time, there were no more than ten developers in the country that really made video games for TV screens, so the entire video game last year Cracking the popularity of free games, such a game user experience will be very poor, manipulation will be a problem, you have no way to buy a prop to get a better gaming experience. And many of these platforms do not really do user operations, do not do customer service, the entire industry is doing very shallow content, only to provide content, but did not do a good job, this with the number of cp Great relationship.

Zhang Zong: I have been playing games for more than a decade. I met an old colleague who was doing a trip yesterday. He asked me if they have the opportunity to play video games? I told him very decisively, it was the time! This must be done now because the threshold for participation in this field is relatively low now, but I believe that with the accelerated development of the industry this year, the threshold for participation will be rapidly increased.

I suggest that the newly-developed video game development team can start with stand-alone games first. You can even do a deep transplant from your original Android mobile game, first enter the video game industry, occupy a good position first, and then target TV screens. Really do home entertainment video games. Because many employees in the industry have such a consensus that home entertainment is the core nature of video games, we must consider how to develop video games from the perspective of family entertainment. For them, there are great opportunities for video games, and The threshold is not high now.
