**Mames Consulting and SENSOR CHINA: Can you tell us about the history and evolution of PSL (Induction Technology)?**
Dr. Steve: PSL was founded in 1984 as a sensor technology-based production company. The company underwent a major reorganization in 2005 to integrate with modern manufacturing systems. In 2006, we launched our Sensor R&D Center and the Shenzhen Sensor Technology Service Center in Virginia, USA, along with a dedicated sensor production workshop. Our sensor business primarily serves North America and Europe, but we are expanding globally.
**Mames Consulting and SENSOR CHINA: Who makes up the core team at PSL?**
Dr. Steve: Our team consists of highly experienced professionals from around the world, including senior engineers and experts from the US and Australia. We also have a strong development team based in Shenzhen, China, with extensive experience in product development for industries such as medical devices, aerospace, and marine applications.
**Mames Consulting and SENSOR CHINA: What are the key technologies and patents that PSL has developed?**
Dr. Steve: We have developed a range of high-tech solutions, including oil-filled cores, crystal sensor chips, metal strain films, and high-temperature inorganic bonding. Our piezoresistive dielectric glass fusion bonding technology is particularly advanced. We also have a complete manufacturing process for strain gauge forming knives and various pressure sensors and transmitters, many of which have obtained national utility model certificates.
**Mames Consulting and SENSOR CHINA: What are your main products and their applications? Can you share some examples?**
Dr. Steve: Our product range includes piezoresistive semiconductor glass fusion bonding sensors, oil-filled cores, ceramic sensors, force sensors, Bluetooth sensors, and more. These are used in medical equipment, HVAC systems, automotive, industrial control, marine, oil wells, fire protection, and wireless communication. For example, our "Cloud-Based State Monitoring and Maintenance of Wireless Sensors" supports real-time data collection in remote areas, enhancing industrial IoT. The "Heavy Truck Top Collision Avoidance System" improves safety by detecting potential collision risks, while the "Hospital Infusion Monitoring System" offers seamless monitoring for better patient care.
**Mames Consulting and SENSOR CHINA: How does PSL handle customized sensor solutions?**
Dr. Steve: We offer tailored solutions, starting from drawing confirmation, sample testing, and trial production to mass production. Our engineering team works closely with customers to ensure smooth implementation. One example is a hydraulic pressure measurement product with strict waterproofing and corrosion resistance requirements. After extensive R&D, we delivered a product that met all specifications and received excellent feedback.
**Mames Consulting and SENSOR CHINA: Can you describe your production capabilities?**
Dr. Steve: Our production line is fully automated, featuring SMT lines, automatic bonding and soldering machines, and advanced calibration test systems. We also handle plastic injection molding, surface finishing, and metal stamping, along with laser treatment for metal surfaces. This ensures we meet the highest quality and efficiency standards.
**Mames Consulting and SENSOR CHINA: How does the Park-Zone precision parking device work?**
Dr. Steve: Park-Zone uses advanced ultrasonic and wide-range sensing technology to measure the distance between the vehicle and obstacles, helping drivers park accurately and safely.
**Mames Consulting and SENSOR CHINA: What do you think about the growing demand for tire pressure monitoring systems in China?**
Dr. Steve: As car ownership increases, safety becomes a top priority. Our wireless Bluetooth TPMS allows real-time monitoring through a simple app, with a 15-meter Bluetooth range. It's user-friendly and accurate, making it popular among consumers.
**Mames Consulting and SENSOR CHINA: What are your plans for the next five years?**
Dr. Steve: We will continue to invest in pressure sensor innovation and low-cost manufacturing. We are also expanding into AI, medical devices, new energy, IoT, and navigation equipment, aiming to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs.
**Mames Consulting and SENSOR CHINA: What products will PSL showcase at the 2017 Sensor China Exhibition?**
Dr. Steve: We will display updated models, including oil-filled cores, crystal sensors, metal strain films, piezoresistive dielectric glass sensors, Bluetooth pressure and temperature sensors, atmospheric sensors, vibration and magnetic sensors, as well as medical and AI-related sensors.
