Dongshan Precision (002384) announced that the company received the notice of the company's controlling shareholders Yuan Yonggang and Yuan Yongfeng on May 28, 2014. Yuan Yonggang and Yuan Yongfeng intend to reduce their holdings of the company's shares through the Shenzhen Stock Exchange System or the block trading system.
Yuan Yonggang and Yuan Yongfeng are the controlling shareholders of the company. As of March 31, 2014, they held 105,143,098 shares and 104,800,600 shares respectively, accounting for 27.38% and 27.29% of the company's total share capital, respectively. Yuan Yonggang holds 78,857,323 shares of the company with limited sales conditions, and the number of shares holding the company's unrestricted conditions is 26,285,775 shares. Yuan Yongfeng holds 78,600,450 shares under the company's restricted sales conditions, and the number of shares holding the company's unrestricted conditions is 26,200,150 shares.
Yuan Yonggang and Yuan Yongfeng have to fulfill their commitments to the company and have capital needs. They plan to reduce some of their shares in the company through the Shenzhen Stock Exchange System or the block trading system within the next six months from May 31, 2014. The total number of shares held may exceed 5% of the company's total share capital, but not more than 10%.
After the completion of this reduction, Yuan Yonggang, Yuan Yongfeng and his father Yuan Fugen combined to hold the company's shares not less than 50%, still the controlling shareholder of the company.
