Reporter: 2003-2005 is the start-up period of China's LED. From this year on, semiconductor lighting project will enter an important period of advancement. So, what kind of results have you achieved during the start-up period? Wu Ling: Since June 2003, the Ministry of Science and Technology took the lead in setting up the National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Coordination Leading Group. Since the National Semiconductor Lighting Project was launched urgently, it has always followed the "immediately addressing the key technologies for industrialization that are urgently needed in the special lighting market, and cultivating white light general lighting in the medium and long term. The established goal of the industry can be said to have achieved a series of breakthroughs in technological innovation and industrialization in more than two years. First of all, in the key technology of the power type high-brightness LED chip, not only the power chip is realized from scratch, but the luminous power reaches 180 mW. The standard Blu-ray chip's luminous power has also increased from 3-4 milliwatts at the beginning of the project in 2003 to the current 6-8 milliwatts, which is close to the international industrialization level of 8-10 milliwatts; it has changed the unfavorable situation that all chips rely on imports. Domestic chips currently account for 37% of the domestic market. Secondly, the power-type white light package has also made a big breakthrough. The luminous power has increased from 20 lumens per watt at the beginning of the project in 2003 to the current 35-40 lumens, which basically reaches 40 lumens of international industrialization level. It can be said that China has become a global An important packaging manufacturing base for the semiconductor lighting industry. In addition, there has been significant progress in the development of system technology integration for semiconductor lighting applications. Newly developed products such as power LED table lamps, automotive lamps, power LED solar garden lights, etc., have been mass-produced and some products are exported. It should be said that through the work during the 10th Five-Year Plan period, good results have been achieved, but this is a phased one.
