Google indoor map landing PC platform

Google has introduced indoor maps to the PC version of Google Maps, making it easier for users to start buying on the “Black Friday” day and to become more familiar with strange airports while on vacation.

Google announced on Google+ on Wednesday that the indoor map, which originally only supported Android devices, had already introduced the PC desktop platform. This service covers major airports, shopping centers, museums and other 10,000 buildings, allowing users to find the roads within the airport and the location of shops, ATMs and public toilets in shopping malls.

Google not only specifically lists the locations that support indoor maps, but also provides specialized channels to facilitate the submission of indoor map data by relevant agencies.

The Christmas shopping season in the United States generally starts after Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is the fourth Thursday of November every year. So its second day, the last Friday in November, became the first day of American big purchases. On this day, the mall will launch a large number of discount promotions for the last large-scale promotion. As malls generally record deficits in red pens and record profits in black pens, people’s frantic buying on Thanksgiving Day after Thanksgiving has greatly increased the profit of shopping malls and they are called “Black Friday” by the merchants. Businesses expect to get the most lucrative profits of the year in the Christmas shopping season from this day.
